Who You Are
We are seeking a Compliance Data Officer for temporary cover to join our Housing Asset Management and Compliance team for a 9-month period (May 2025 - January 2026). The ideal candidate will embrace hybrid working, with up to 2 days a week at the Tower Hamlets Town Hall, 160 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ. You should possess proven technical skills in data management and have familiarity with large-scale housing management systems. While experience with NEC (previously Northgate) Housing is advantageous, training will be provided. Accuracy, meticulousness, and a willingness to collaborate with the team to achieve strategic objectives are of greater importance.
What the Job Involves
The post-holder will work within the Housing Asset Management team to deliver the Team Plan by:
- Maintaining documentation for statutory compliance programmes (fire risk, asbestos, water hygiene, electrical testing, and LOLER)
- Maintaining compliance-related data in NEC Risk Management and Servicing
- Maintaining compliance-related master trackers
- Producing regular compliance analyses
- Assisting with updating the Active Plan system for high-rise blocks
- Assisting with enquiries from the team inbox
