You are an empathetic and proactive individual with a passion for working with youth. You possess a good understanding of the challenges faced by young people and are committed to enabling their holistic development in a supportive and safe environment. You are flexible and open to working evenings, weekends, and school holidays as required by the job.

What the Job Involves

As a Youth Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering and developing youth work sessions across Tower Hamlets as part of the “safe spaces” initiative. This role involves establishing positive voluntary relationships with young people, engaging them through one-on-one and group activities, and empowering them to take positive action towards their wellbeing. You will also assist with signposting young people to additional support services, co-produce service delivery with them, and ensure youth work practice is inclusive and equitable. Additionally, you will participate in planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs, and perform building and safety duties as required.
