Who You Are
You are a professional with a social work qualification recognized by GSCC/HCPC and currently hold HCPC registration. You have a deep understanding of national policies and legislation relevant to social work, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Acts, and the Mental Capacity Act. You are experienced in applying these in practice, especially when it comes to safeguarding processes.
What the Job Involves
As a social worker, you will provide professional services to adults, their families, and carers, in compliance with the Care Act 2014. Your role involves conducting strength-based assessments, developing personalized support plans, and taking a holistic approach to interventions. You will also be responsible for safeguarding enquiries, ensuring that the adult at risk is central to the process. Your approach will be preventative, and you will provide comprehensive advice and information to support informed decision-making.
