As a competent Building Safety Manager, you possess a comprehensive understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 within social housing contexts. With over three years of relevant experience, you are adept at developing and managing Building Safety Case Reports and leading multi-disciplinary teams. You excel in stakeholder engagement and mentorship, fostering a culture of compliance and safety. You hold or are working towards a CIOB Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
What the Job Involves
Your role is to ensure the safe and compliant management of building safety for Lambeth Council's higher-risk residential buildings (HRBs). This involves leading the operational management of building safety, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and developing Building Safety Cases and Reports. You will coordinate resident engagement, collaborate with various departments, oversee safety-related actions, and liaise with external regulators. Additionally, you will coach and mentor staff, facilitating a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organisation.
