Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced professional in MASH, equipped to lead and shape practice and performance within the team. You are looking to further develop your risk assessment and management skills and have a proactive approach in supporting team management and service development.

What the Job Involves

Under the guidance of the Team Manager, you will lead a small sub-team, focusing on staff development and supervision. You will be responsible for high-risk strategy meetings on a rotational basis and support the management of referrals, allocations, and the authorizing of Social Worker assessments. Additionally, you will work closely with MASH partner agencies and contribute to service development and task force groups. This fast-paced role requires confident decision-making under pressure to safeguard children and young people, ensuring timely progression to appropriate services.
