Role

Who You Are

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated social worker to join our team. You should possess a solid understanding of social work principles, have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience, and hold a recognized qualification in Social Work such as a Master’s or Degree in Social Work. You are expected to be proactive, flexible, and able to maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards service users. Registration with Social Care Wales is mandatory, and you must be capable of traveling within RCT for face-to-face work.

What the Job Involves

This role involves safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people, and adults by delivering high-quality social work practice. You will be responsible for carrying out assessments, planning and managing care and support plans, and working collaboratively with various agencies to deliver services. You will also carry a complex caseload, provide professional advice, guidance, and support to social workers and other staff, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. The role requires strong involvement in service review and development and requires adherence to statutory duties and divisional policies.
