What the Job Involves
As a Senior Social Worker in Adult Services, you provide direct social work support in alignment with statutory guidelines and policies. You build and maintain effective partnerships with colleagues, agencies, and families to deliver integrated care. You are responsible for safeguarding assessments, preparing reports, and chairing meetings. Your role also involves maintaining professional standards, continuing professional development, contributing to service development, and supporting less experienced colleagues.
Skills
- Qualification in Social Work (Degree or equivalent)
- Registration with the Care Council as a social worker
- Understanding of relevant legislation and policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Administrative and IT proficiency
