Who You Are
You are a skilled practitioner adept at building relationships with children, young people, their families, and carers. Your ability to understand their needs allows you to plan effectively. You have recent experience within the court arena and are registered with the SCW or SCE, or are willing to register with the SCW if not currently registered.
What the Job Involves
This position is part of the Family Support & Protection Team, responsible for assessing and planning for children, young people, and families in need of Social Care to ensure their health, wellbeing, and protection from neglect and abuse. You will complete assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to improve the welfare of children and young people within a specific timeframe. If needed, the role involves preparing written evidence and advancing cases to legal proceedings. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and vulnerability.
