Who You Are

You are a strategic leader with expertise in health and social care services for adults. You possess a sound understanding of commissioning processes within health, the Council, NHS, and the voluntary sector. You are knowledgeable about statutory responsibilities and have experience with budget management and compliance with financial regulations. With significant experience in managing teams and service development, you are innovative and excel in stakeholder engagement and co-production.

What the Job Involves

As a Senior Commissioning Manager, you will oversee and enhance commissioning within the service, focusing on integrated, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery in Tower Hamlets. You will develop and implement strategic plans, drive service transformation, and manage partnerships and projects across organizational boundaries. Leading budget management and procurement activities, you will support innovation, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with policies. Additionally, you will contribute to leadership efforts and be involved in council-wide initiatives and collaborations, representing and supporting senior management as needed.
