You are a dedicated and professional Mental Health Social Worker committed to providing high-quality social work services to adults, their families, and carers. You possess a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and mental health legislation, ensuring a focus on promoting wellbeing and reducing risks. You are adept at engaging with individuals and their networks to develop strength-based, personalized support plans and safeguarding approaches.
What the Job Involves
You will provide a comprehensive social work service within the Adult Social Care division, working in partnership with the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team and East London NHS Trust. The role involves conducting strength-based assessments, developing support plans, and undertaking safeguarding inquiries. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including health agencies, third-sector organizations, and housing providers, to ensure coordinated care. You will also manage a diverse caseload and participate in team meetings, case conferences, as well as contribute to safeguarding processes and court procedures.

- Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and mental health legislation
