You are an experienced social worker with a strong understanding of mental health support frameworks. Dedicated to working collaboratively within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, you are committed to improving the lives of service users both in hospital settings and the community. Your knowledge of legislative requirements and various assessments enables you to provide essential support and advocacy for users and carers.
What the Job Involves
The job involves providing integrated social work services within the East London NHS Trust. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, reviews, and providing advice and assistance to service users in accordance with the Care Programme Approach and Care Act. Your work will include safeguarding enquiries, mental capacity assessments, and facilitating Best Interest Meetings. You will also handle Court of Protection applications and engage with individual service users to enhance their outcomes through tailored support.
