What the job involves
As a Senior Finance Officer (Housing), you will support the Management Accountant in providing excellent financial services to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will work in either the Capital and Repairs team or the Statutory Accounts team. Your role includes collaborating with service managers to understand business functions, assisting in budget monitoring and setting processes, and providing variance analyses and financial guidance. You will also contribute to year-end closing processes and deliver training on financial systems like Agresso and Power BI, while actively promoting the council's priorities and outcomes.
