What the Job Involves
Your role involves managing complex and varied casework, conducting specialist assessments, and implementing interventions to enhance independence and safety for individuals. You will also facilitate a range of rehabilitation programs and advise on assistive technologies and adaptions. You support individuals and their caregivers in making informed decisions, prioritize clear and empathetic communication, and lead safeguarding initiatives. Your role also encompasses supervision of junior staff and students, collaboration with multiple agencies, promoting continuous professional development, and occasionally deputizing for Senior Occupational Therapists.
